Fashion Design Educator
Since 2004, Anne has taught all levels of fashion design at numerous schools, ranging from Community Colleges, a college preparatory school in Beijing, to Parsons School of Design. Most recently, Anne has taught senior thesis Creative Technical Studio to BFA seniors at Parsons School of Design where many of her students were recognized as finalists for Designer of the Year Awards and participated in The Parsons Benefit Fashion Shows.
Fashion Designer
Upon graduation from FIT, Anne worked as a lingerie designer for Lucie Ann Lingerie, a luxury brand located in Beverly Hills, California that catered to celebrities. After establishing a solid reputation as a designer in California, she returned to New York to work as a private label designer for many lingerie brands, including Federated Department Store brands.
Technical Fashion Designer
Several companies have enjoyed Anne’s expertise as a technical designer, interpreting from designer’s sketches and bringing them to life using her skills in fitting, patternmaking and draping.
Creative Technical Fashion Designer
Anne continues to research new ways of designing via 3D methods that inform her work as a designer and educator. She has taken two Shingo Sato workshops in Transformational Reconstruction in Milan and numerous workshops in New York including Zero Waste Patternmaking Techniques, Julian Roberts Subtraction Cutting, and Rikard Lindqvist’s Kinetic Construction.
